  For this business trip and short trip to Shanghai, I specifically chose Jinjiang Inn Select (Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street), which is the old East Asia Hotel. I originally thought that most chain hotels in core areas only valued location and provided average service. However, after staying, I was impressed by the meticulous service throughout the entire process, which completely refreshed my impression of such hotels.
  I landed in Shanghai around 1am and dragged my suitcase to the hotel entrance.
